Almost Procedural Organizer Papercraft Cardboard

Invalid Date Invalid Date Invalid Date (Today)

When I got a 3D printer, I was so excited to print a lot of organizational stationary stuff. The stuff you can just buy in a general store. But when I tried exploring, not only they cost a lot (just the filament) they also take soo much time to print like 5+ hours plus.

And then it dawned on me that I had a lot of cardboards lying around waiting to be repurpose and I just opted it for my own container.

The start is from an actual 3d model. I didn't use it directly but had to rebuild and it make it somewhat procedural. Of course, I need to have some sort of input from it but mainly just an excuse to use Houdini again.

When I was building it, I actually appreciated the reference model more. Not quite clear at first glance but I realized it had some nifty and appealing desing decision. The angle accent, the chamfers, the size of each boxes etc.

Really nice.

Anyway, here is what it look like.
