Workflow
- When you’re using lots of masks in your project, it’s better if they have different colors. This makes them easier to identify and select. Go to AE’s preferences and select the Appearance section. From there, check ‘Cycle Mask Colors.

- J and K to move from one marker to the other. Had to use this. To block shots on cinema4d
- DIFFERENT VIEWER RESOLUTIONS
- Full: Cmd + J
- Half: Cmd + Shift + J
- Quarter: Cmd + Opt + Shift + J
- Zoom in Timeline: + / - or (comma or period)
- Zoom in Viewer: Ctrl + / -
- Alt + Shift + . or , to move like composition tabs
- I / O. Jump on the beginning and ending section of a lyaer
- Page Up/Down: Move per frame. Shift Page Up/Down: Move per 10 frames.
- Shift + 0 (Number pad): Previewing Animation
- Shift + F3: Animation Editor
- Ctrl + Shift + H: Toggle View/Comp Controls
- Text Kerning: Highlight the text/words then hit Alt + Left/Right Arrow
- Shift + /: Fit the comp to the screen
- Precisely jump from one keyframe to the next (across properties) by hitting the J & K key
Particular
- If emitting from lights, make sure the lights aare named "Emitter 1" "Emitter 2"
- The light intensity controls the number of prticles.
