Limit Processor Core in Maya for Stability

At face value, it doesn't make sense to limit your cores up until you try to import large FBX with several geometry and corresponding skin or any single threaded processes.
To be honest, I don't mind waiting. What I mind is when this happens I can't seem to work on other tasks outside Maya. Or at least not properly without having the risk of crashing the Maya.
Solution? Don't assign your full cores when using Maya. You can manually do this in Windows through the Task Manager. Under the Details tab. Find Maya. RMB>Set Affinity. Then untick a core. By default all cores are enabled.
Or if you are going with this workflow everything. Use the code below to your target shortcut or in the commandline.
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start /affinity FE "Maya" "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2022\bin\maya.exe"
The disadvantage ofcourse is your are not using all your cores. Its not really noticeable unless you are rendering. The upside? I guess more stability than Maya can spare.
P.S. This actually applies not only to Maya but to also other apps. I also use in Blender and Davinci Resolve.
