This is the house wifi. This is different from the wifi/e-sim used when going out. Please get your own at the airport.
How to use hot water
For hot water, press the switch on the remote control on the kitchen or shower room wall.
Please set the temperature numbers to 42 degrees Celsius.
Please take care of the high temperatures.
Heating and cooling are used with air conditioning
You also need to press the switch on the wall to release hot water.

About garbage removal
Garbage collection will be collected the day after request.
Never put them in the garbage area in the area.
Garbage should be placed inside the room or outside the front door.
Depending on the guest house, there may not be a garbage stocker installed
If there is garbage in the entrance part of the room during the guest's absence, please understand that the contractor will enter the room.
No trash at night. (Cats and crows are scattered)
Do not accumulate too much garbage. Due to insects, please request to collect your garbage once every 3 days.
Trash Separation
Sorry for the inconvenience, please separate the garbage into flammable, non-burnable, cans and bottles.

About the use of facilities
- Never flush any paper other than toilet paper provided in the toilet Paper products that do not dissolve in the water or flush the leftover food can make the toilet clog.
- Never put solids in the sink, such as leftover food, etc. The oil will solidify with the plumbing and the sink will not work.
- If the drain is clogged, there will be a corresponding repair fee to be charged.
- No shoes in the unit.
- Please do not hang your clothes or laundry on theβ curtain rail. If the curtain rail is broken, repair costs will be charged.
- No moving bedding (bed or mattress).
- This guest house is particularly cautious about noise at night from neighbors.
- Also, there is no smoking in the guest house and around the guest house. Japan is a very strict country for smoking rules.
- If there is noise at night, smoking in and around the guest house, and local residents do not follow the rules, please understand that you may cancel the accommodation contract and leave at the request of the neighbors.

Other Reminders
- π Most city tours will be on train and foot.

- π Comfortable shoes are a must, as the city tours involve a lot of walking.

Due to the unavailability of hotels that can accommodate a group of 9 people on the chosen dates, we have opted to book an Airbnb (e.g. Apartment).
Please note the following distinctions between staying at a hotel versus an Airbnb:

- π‘ More home-like. Has home appliances like rice-cooker, stove, washing machine, etc.

Flight Details
Cebu Pacific has made some changes, so not all flight details are the same as before. All outbound flights are scheduled for May 14, 2025 (domestic leg) and May 15, 2025 (international leg). All inbound flights are on May 22, 2025.
The outbound Cebu to Narita (NRT) international flight remains unchanged.
For the return flights, most will be going from Narita to Manila to Davao, while a few are routed through Cebu instead (Narita β Cebu β Davao).

Hotel Accommodation is roughly 2k-4k per person (i.e. 4k-8k per room) per night. However, due to the unavailability to our dates and group size, opted instead for Airbnb. Same range as the hotel accommodation but mostly in the lower range.

π¦οΈ What's the weather like in May?
Based on the forecast, Tokyo will have a high of 26Β°C and a low of 14Β°C. Essentially, slightly colder than Baguio weather.
π΅ How to exchange/withdraw Yen?
In terms of best rate, the hierarcy from best to worst is:
- withdraw yen from local ATMs in Japan using PH Digital Bank Card
- withdraw yen from local ATMs in Japan using PH Traditional Bank Card
- exchange PHP to Yen in Japan
- exchange PHP to Yen in Philippines
It's best to withdraw yen from local ATMs in Japan for the best exchange rates. You can withdraw yen in Japan using PH Debit Cards such as GoTyme Card, Maya Card, Gcash Card, etc.
However, carrying USD for emergencies is also a good idea. or exchange a small amount of Yen in PH and the rest of the yen in Japan.
π§³π Will we visit Kyoto and Osaka or Hokkaido?
No. Kyoto and Osaka are about 500km from Tokyo. Though the bullet train takes 2.5 hours one way, the round trip cost is almost as much as the flight.
A trip to Hokkaido is also not feasible since it is 1300km away from Tokyo. It will need another plane ride and would most likely require at least 2-3 to enjoy.
𧳠Can I bring one large luggage + medium luggage?
No. The flight ticket allows only one checked-in luggage. You can either bring a large or medium luggage for check-in, plus one small luggage/bag for carry-on.
πΈ Will we see cherry blossoms during May?
Cherry blossoms are not in season by May. However, we can visit flower parks like Hitsujiyama Park in Chichibu or Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki for a beautiful flower experience, as a day trip. Depends on the schedule/weather.

City Tours will consist most of the following based on probability to visit. There is no Tokyo City, per se. Tokyo is a prefecture composed of several cities.
There are a lot of areas or neighborhood to visit in Tokyo. You can check the Tokyo Neighborhood Map
Visit on those areas are on a best-effort basis, depends on how much more you can walk and the available time :)
Day Trips will mostly consist of the following. These are the most popular day trips so they have the most options to be DIY or with a private charter or through joiner tour. However, unlike the City Tour, we can only have 2-3 day trips outside Tokyo, with the rest spent on city tours.
